Captured this last weekend ~ best laugh I've had in a while. Twenty dirhams = about $2.50.
I decided to splurge on knockoff designer sunglasses instead. My loss?

"Shwiya b shwyia" is Darija (Moroccan Arabic) for “little by little.” It’s how things get done in Morocco … and it's how I'm progressing as a Peace Corps volunteer here, working in youth development.

I suppose you get what you pay for.
A friend of mine just went to Norway. Apparently it's really expensive to drink there, so people drink at home or in their hotel rooms before they go out. Americans call this pre-partying.
What do Norwegians call it? Foreplay.
My friend had a really hard time not laughing at the middle-aged woman who told her this over dinner.
